TIBER
Marco and Lucia. A borrowed gold Fiat. The slow road to the Tiber.
After losing his job in Rome, Australian-Italian art historian Marco returns to Tuscany, where he sets out in a vintage Fiat X1/9 with his young daughter Lucia on a journey toward the Tiber River. Travelling through an Italian summer of sunlit roads, ancient towns, rivers, churches and small encounters shaped by memory, art and history, Marco is drawn toward a reckoning with the loss he has long tried to contain.
“TIBER places a private grief against the weight of art, history and landscape, where memory feels alive and time never fully passes.”
